As we know, State bank of India had released a notification for the recruitment of probationary officer for 1897 posts Large number of applications has submitted for this Exam. Candidates take care to prepare enough for the examination to avoid last minute psychosomatic or other mishaps.
All the process regarding SBI po exam applications ended on 24th April and as per the reservation 758 seats will be given to general categories students. Other reserved categories are as follows: OBC- 405 seats, SC, ST- 235 seats, VH Category- 29 seats and OH category- 31 seats. It is confirmed by some popular news channels that sbi po exam is expected to held on 14 June, 2014. Other useful information related to po exam are given below.
Graduation procured in any subject, stream or course that is strictly recognized and certified by the Central Government.
Final year students can also avail the application, provided the requisite proof is submitted by August 10, 2014.
All candidates must be aged 21-30 as on April 01 2014.
- Ex-servicemen of military/ Domiciled in the J&K during the period 01/01/1980 – 31/12/1989 – 5 years.
- PWD : SC/ST – 15 Years.
- PWD: OBC -13 Years
- PWD : Gen – 10 Years
- SC/ ST – 5 Years
Objective test will be given a maximum of 2 Hours to complete and descriptive Test will be given 1 Hour to complete.
Objective Test ( Online ):
a) English Language: Grammar, Comprehension and Vocabulary – 50 Marks.
b) Computer Awareness, Marketing and General Awareness – 50 Marks
c) Data Analysis and Interpretations – 50 Marks
d) Reasoning ( Level : High) – 50 Marks.
This section constitutes a total of 200 Marks and is immediately followed by the descriptive test.
Descriptive Test: English Language -Comprehension, Precis, Letter and Essay Writing : 50 Marks
The selection process consists of three categories: a) Objective ( Online) and Descriptive Examinations of a total of 250 Marks.
b) Group Discussion immediately followed by Personal Interview of 20 and 30 Marks respectively.
c) Final Selection :
i) Candidates should pass both the Online and Written Exam. The attained marks are converted to a percentile out of 75.
ii) The attained marks in the GD and the personal interview are converted to a percentile out of 25.
iii) The above two resultant marks are calculated to convert it under 100 percentile and the merit list is put up on the Bank’s Website.
