If you have registered your mobile number with your Indian bank home branch then you can use this method. You just need to place a missed call from your registered number to ‘09289592895’. After two complete rings, the call gets disconnected automatically and within seconds you get an SMS from the bank stating your account balance.

By Calling Customer Care

You can call the customer care toll-free number at “180042500000 / 1800 4254422” and by authenticating your details through IVRS you can get your Indian Bank account balance instantly.

Through SMS Banking

To avail of this facility offered by Indian Bank, you must register your mobile number at your home branch bank which links to your account. You have to send a message from your registered mobile number to know the balance of your account. Open a new message, and write the keyword “BALAVL <Ac no> <MPIN>” where <Ac no> is your bank account number and <MPIN> is 4 digits mobile banking password.

There is space after BALAVL and the account number. For example: If your account number is 9876543210 and your MPIN is 1234 then the message will be “BALAVL 9876543210 1234″. You have to send this message to the number 94443-94443. Within minutes you will get an SMS from banking with the account balance. Similarly, send LATRAN to get a mini statement.

Internet Banking

If you have opted for Internet banking service and have a login ID and password then visit the Indian Bank Internet banking page – https://www.indianbank.net.in Go to “Personal Banking” if you have a saving account or “Corporate Banking” if you have a current or another business account. Agree to the bank terms and conditions by clicking the checkbox on the new page.

Enter your bank Login User ID then enter your Password in the new page opened next. Once you are through the login process you entered your bank account internet banking. Click on the ‘accounts‘ tab and you will get the balance displayed on the screen instantly.

Android App

If you have Android Smartphone then go to Google Play Store and download and install Indian Bank Android App – IndPay. After installing, enter your credentials such as customer ID and password to use this app.

Follow the simple steps and you are through the process. Once you finish the authentication process you can get the balance details of your Indian Bank account.

Offline method:

  1. Apart from the above two main methods you can always go for traditional methods such as visiting your bank branch and asking for the account balance at the enquiry counter.
  2. Update your passbook and get the account balance printed on your passbook along with all the transaction details.
  3. You can also visit your nearest Indian Bank ATM and check the account balance using your debit card and pin.
