Step 1: First of all, you need to open the official web portal of National Voter’s Service at www.nvsp.in. Click on Click Here button under Track Application Status, Or Visit direct link http://www.nvsp.in/Forms/Forms/trackstatus.

Step 2: You will get directed to a new page featuring a box to Enter Reference ID. Enter the Reference ID Number and click on Track Status button. Status of your Voter ID card application will get displayed on the screen.

After successful processing of the Voter ID application, you will receive the Voter ID card within one or two months. You may expect a verification team at your residential address for confirming your identification.

If neither of these happens within the period, you must inform about this at the ERO or the Zonal Officer or Local Tahsildar or the polling station of the area. Tracking the application status of the Voter ID card online is the easiest way indeed!

  1. I have been a voter since 1983, from which time I am staying in the present address. I have voted for many elections. I have aged 73 yrs. But my name is left out in the recent past. Several reminders were sent but in vain. I want to cast my vote for this parliament election which is my RIGHT. I have a passport, aadhar card and ration card.
